EYE EXAMINATIONS

Routine vision exams are designed for patients who just need a prescription update and are not experiencing ocular symptoms or medical issues that can affect the eyes (such as Diabetes).  The exam include tests for visual acuity, prescription check for glasses, and a general eye health check up.  This is the examination that is typically covered by Vision Insurance plans.  Based on the exam results, Dr. White may recommend that your return for Comprehensive Eye Exam and/or further diagnostic testing.

Comprehensive eye exams are vital to your overall health.  In addition to assessing your visual acuity, the optometrist will test for common eye diseases and order additional diagnostic testing based on your medical history.  Comprehensive eye exams are generally billed to your medical insurance plan.

Dr. White specializes in fitting all types of soft contact lenses.  We also offer fittings for patients with astigmatism and presbyopia.

We specialize in children's eye care and offer  eye exams for kids starting at the age of 5. Our optometrist can detect and treat common childhood eye conditions such as amblyopia and strabismus.
